Jerry Tan

Jerry is a seasoned entrepreneur and strategic manager with over 37 years of leadership experience. Graduating from the University of Oregon with a B.Sc. in Finance and Marketing, he has built an extensive career marked by innovation across diverse industries, including technology, architecture, sustainable design, and food security. He is recognized for his adaptability and "out of the box" thinking, consistently pioneering and spearheading new business ventures toward strategic growth.

Jerry's entrepreneurial prowess was evident early in his career. As the Co-Founder of Symbolic Technologies, he helped establish ASEAN’s leading system supplier for high-end 3D graphics and broadcast solutions. His leadership as a founder was instrumental in the company’s technical achievements, leading to two prestigious awards for the development of the world's first real-time financial graphics system for CNBC.

Jerry continued his innovative streak as the Founder and CEO of Light10 Laboratories and its spin-off, Light10 Industries. He pioneered Solid State Lighting technologies in Southeast Asia in 2003 and later expanded this vision to introduce the groundbreaking concept of “Transmedia Architecture”. This concept was brought to life through the monumental Singapore Sports Hub project, where Jerry and his team designed and installed the world’s largest LED projected display, covering a 20,000sqm dome. This landmark achievement earned him the Singapore Good Design Award in 2015.

His expertise in this new field was further recognized when he was featured and interviewed by Channel News Asia in 2013 to discuss his innovative Transmedia Architecture concept.

With over 30 years of experience in National Commercial Cleaning and Facilities Management, Katherine built a reputation as a transformative leader who drives growth, fosters innovation, and delivers tailored solutions across sectors such as State and Federal Government, Corporate, Hospitality, and Education.

From spearheading high-value contracts to securing and retaining blue-chip clients, my focus has always been on aligning service delivery with client objectives through strategic leadership, operational excellence, and strong relationship-building. As an Executive Chair, CEO, Partner, and Founder, Katherine played a pivotal role in shaping the industry, steering businesses to success through strategy, business development, and operational improvement.

Katherine's expertise extends globally, having cultivated networks with Family Offices across Hong Kong, China, America, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand. These relationships have enabled her to facilitate impactful partnerships, mergers, and acquisitions, including, but not limited to, property and company valuations.

Passionate about diversity and sustainability, Katherine champions initiatives that empower women in leadership and actively support Indigenous businesses through inclusive employment practices. She brings a holistic leadership approach, blending strategic vision with a deep understanding of operational and client needs, always striving to create meaningful, lasting impact in every endeavour.
